Costa Rica, July 2022

In July 2022, renewed gathered in the jungle of Costa Rica to restore a sense of well-being, learn from each other, and collectively envision a new way forward.

The 2022 gathering brought a diverse group of interdisciplinary educators together to experience a powerful and rejuvenating experience in Costa Rica. We collaborated, conversed, and explored the cities of Tamarindo, San Jose, and Cahuita, Costa Rica. The retreat centered wellness and somatic practices alongside professional and leadership development. Our facilitators prioritized self-care, collaboration, and connectivity-to ourselves, each other, and the natural environment in the participant experience. Our shared intention was to collectively renew ourselves, build community, and sharpen our tools so that we can return to our respective communities and continue the good work in education.
